  1. You can definitely do it! That's about what we spend a month and we have two in diapers... and those things aren't cheap. I've found the key is very careful planning. If you want to splurge on something, work it into your budget by making a more frugal side dish. Also, and I know I look crazy doing it, but I keep a total on my calculator as I shop. That way, if I see something I've picked may push me over, I can make an on spot decision and change a meal, side, etc. to a more frugal one.

  3. Hi Lindsey! Sounds like you are on your way to great savings! I would add that you can always incorporate beans into your plan. Whether you mix them in with meat, or as sides and in soups. Plus beans are frugal and very nutritious! Thanks for sharing! Blessings from Bama!
