Welcome
Hey! I’m Lindsey.
I’m a big city girl transplanted
to a whole new world in which I love. Follow along as I try to take a page from
lifestyles and traditions gone by to help my family grow and live in a much
more natural and self-sufficient way.
A little about who I am:
I love finding old things to revamp
and renew…
I strive to cook
from scratch and live
on a budget…
I am obsessed with essential oils…
I married a real cowboy and live on a farm (sugar cane & a cow/calf operation)…
I rescue dogs that people have given up on and wind up on
the farm…
I have convinced my husband to raise chickens…
I do all this while working
full-time and wrangling 2
rambunctious rug rats one who
has severe eczema...
I am pregnant with fraternal twins (Yes, they run in my family)...
One day I hope to homeschool my munchkins...
It may be bumpy, but we are
totally enjoying the ride!
My husband, "the handyman" can build, tinker, or fix just about anything...
"Sis" is our first born and is a mini-me which
brings great joy & pride while causing me a gray hair or two...
"Lil' Cowboy" is my blue-eyed, silly little man who brings
a smile to my face always at the right time, but has a hankering for
whining...
I'm just starting out blogging and I would love for you to enjoy my blog. Please contact me if you have any comments/questions/concerns.
Thanks for stopping by,
